Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood does everything right. The world-building is phenomenal, with alchemy feeling like a real science with clear rules and limitations. Every character, even minor ones, feels important to the story. The Elric brothers' journey is emotional and compelling. The homunculi are fantastic villains with depth. The action is top-tier, the comedy lands, and the emotional beats hit hard. The ending wraps everything up perfectly without feeling rushed. If you can only watch one shounen anime, make it this one.
