The final season was everything I hoped for. The reveal that there's a whole world outside the walls completely changed the story's scope. Eren's transformation from hero to anti-hero is tragic and brilliantly executed. The Marley arc added so much depth, making you sympathize with former enemies. The final battle was epic, and the ending, while controversial, felt earned. Yes, it's dark and depressing, but it's also a powerful story about cycles of hatred and the cost of freedom. Mappa did an incredible job with the animation despite the tight schedule.
