Season 1 is a Masterpiece, Season 2 is... Fine

Discussing
One Punch Man
One Punch Man season 1 is what happens when you give a passionate studio unlimited creative freedom. Madhouse's sakuga animation is some of the best ever produced. Every fight is a spectacle. The comedy works perfectly, and Saitama's deadpan reactions never get old. Then J.C.Staff took over for season 2, and the drop in quality is painful. The story is still good, but the animation doesn't do it justice. This review is for season 1 specifically—that's the 9/10 experience.
